TERM 4 Foundation Transition Program for 2023

SUPPORTING YOUR CHILD’S TRANSITION TO SCHOOL

At Maramba, we run a comprehensive transition program called FOOTSTEPS INTO FOUNDATION made up of seven sessions across Term 3 and Term 4 of 2022. This supports children and their families with the next big chapter in their lives, starting school.

In Term 4, Our Footsteps into Foundation Transition Sessions are predominantly set up for families who have already enrolled their child in Foundation at Maramba for 2023.

Our Foundation Transition Program is exceptionally important, as we acutely understand the importance for our children and families to strengthen their connections with the school, feel safe, secure and confident about starting school by building positive relationships with the other Foundation children and teachers. 

During these sessions, your child will have the opportunity to interact with their potential future class mates and potential teacher for 2023. They empower the children to make a seamless transition from kinder to school. It also allows teachers to make careful observations of each child to start identifying the child's stage of development and establish the level of academic and pastoral support they would benefit from at the beginning of the school year.
