Thank You Volunteers

Art4All Committee

The event was run by our Art4All Committee. We starting the planning back in March this year, with designing t-shirts, the website, and socials. A massive thankyou to the following people who did the hard work for us for so many months.

And of course their partners for carrying the family load while they're planning!

And extras...

There were times during the event where volunteers appeared and supported the coordinators to help carry out the areas the coordinators had been planning so long for.

To these people, in no particular order – thank you for appearing (sometimes out of nowhere, like a super hero) and backing us up, making helpful snap decisions to make our event amazing – we were chuffed to have you!

  • Andrey (Cass's Dad) for your 'tent' making/roof climbing skills + Matt (Amelia's Dad) too – scaling walls and building impressive stuff.
  • Martin (Marley's Dad) for driving out to Braeside last minute.
  • Tamlin (Griff's Mum) for holding the fort and general helpfulness.
  • Aiden in Canada who had nothing to do with our event but was accidentally included in hundreds of emails, announced his resignation, and provided us with such entertainment.
  • Cathy (Lewis' Mum) + Lewis  - next time you'll get a personal invitation to run the hot food/drinks stall.
  • Guy (Zosia + Aviva's Dad) - The Man with the Drill and Spinning Wheel.
  • Gyton and Max for making our Gala Night so enjoyable.
  • Jennifer (Eloise + Jasper's Mum) silently helping in the background, like a ninja.
  • Maree (Max + Sasha's Mum) for supplying 270kg of weight in spirit.
  • Henry (Mabel's brother) moving A LOT of stuff.
  • Sammy (Eloise's sister) the Packup Queen.

Special thank you to the Kids Cafe superstars who both baked treats for at least 50 kids each, AND turned up to do shifts, AND stayed for an extra hour or two, AND then went off to volunteer somewhere else:

  • Suzanne Grant (Mabel's Mum)
  • Vic Crane (Sadie, Tilly + Fred's Mum)
  • Fiona Smeaton (Archer + Sullivan's Mum)
  • Kristen Watkins (Liam + Zach's Mum)
  • Simone Ardern (Archie + Morris' Mum)
  • Madeline Critchley (Sid + Huey's Mum)
  • Nina Collins (Zosia + Aviva's Mum)

And finally - The FPS Office Troopers – Sarah, Jane and Elena. You take everything in your stride, so calm and wonderful, and helpful and lovely.

And last but not least...

To those who signed up hours on Signup Genius and baked... the event couldn't have happened without the well stocked support.

Whether you served drinks, hung art, ArtZoned or sorted waste, it took hundreds of us to run our successful event. Thank you.
