Welcome to 2018

Although we have only been back a few days, it is great to see the children settling into their learning so quickly. This year we welcome Mikaela Cottingham and Allira Wilson to our school. Mikaela is teaching a Year 2-3 class and Allira will be assisting the Preps to Year 3 students in literacy. On Wednesday's Luke Mansfield from Numurkah Secondary College will also be assisting in Mr Smith's and Ms Wilkinson's class as part of his educational support placement. We also welcome some new families to our school including the Norman, Wicks, Turvey, Dunstone, McKenzie, Pearson, Carter, Harris, and Koopman Paterson families. Today is also a very exciting day for our Preps. Check out their smiling faces below! l encourage everyone to come to our welcome BBQ next Thursday for a friendly chat and something to eat. I am looking forward to the year ahead and working with the children, parents and the community in striving for the best educational outcomes. I hope you enjoy our new newsletter format as we will be able to include more photos, articles and also save on paper.
