The process for students in Years 7 and 8 to select their subjects for 2020 will commence shortly and is an exciting time for all.

Wednesday 14th of August,

Students in Years 7 and 8 will attend a Subject Selection assembly during Period 1 in the Hall where they will receive a copy of the 2020 Subject Selection Handbook for their Personal Learning Program, as well as their subject planning sheet.

We invite parents and students to attend a combined night ofYear 7 and 8 Parent Teacher Student Interviewsand our Year 8 and 9 (2020) Subject Information Night to be held on Wednesday August 21, from 4.00 to 8.00pm, in the College Oak Centre.

In the interests of attempting to reduce the evening commitments of our families we have combined the interviews with our normal Year 8 and 9 Subject Information Session. This part of the evening will involve an information session about the Year 8 and 9 Curriculum at St. Joseph’s College, including the exciting choices and opportunities our students are faced with as they choose subjects for next year.  Following the Information Session, subject teachers will be available from 7 - 8pm to demonstrate and explain what their particular subject has to offer, and be available to field any questions you may have.
