Donations for the Twilight Open Evening BBQ

We are currently looking for families within our community who are in a position to donate some of the items needed to make the Twilight Open Evening BBQ event a success. We are seeking 250 gluten free beef sausages and 50 hamburger patties. If you would like to make a donation of any amount, please email pandf@aitkencollege.edu.au. All donations large or small would be greatly appreciated.

Twilight Open Evening BBQ

Make sure when you are at the Open Evening on Tuesday 29 October from 3.00pm - 6.00pm, you stop by the Pre-loved Uniform sale held in the Library (Primary room). We have lots of new things in stock, so come and grab a bargain. We will also be holding a BBQ for those staying to enjoy the entertainment from the school's very talented music students. Fun Run Only 3 Weeks To Go!

The school Fun Run promotes healthy and active lifestyles while helping us raise funds! It is all about participation, with students treated to a great day as a reward for their fundraising efforts. Family support is a key to our fundraising success and we encourage everyone to get involved. Please remember to return your Registration form by Friday 1 November to the Accounts office.

Go to   www.schoolfundraising.com.au to create a student profile page. Everything to do with your fundraising revolves around this page.

Not only can you support the school and students with your sponsorship – but you can join in on the fun! We would love to welcome parents and family members to attend. There will be a FREE Fun Zone Activities area which will be run by Kelly Sports. For a gold coin donation, you can have your face painted and a jump on the jumping castle. You can purchase food and drinks on the day. There will be a coffee van, ice-cream van and a sausage sizzle

Fun Run Raffle Time

This year there will be three chances to win, with three great prize hampers up for grabs.

You will have the chance to win vouchers for Schooltrenz, Scoozi Restaurant in Ascot Vale, Greenvale Laser & Skin Clinic, Rooster Rocks in Greenvale, Salon Nine in Greenvale for a child’s haircut and Tatts Ticket from Greenvale Lotto and Private Lesson at Guccione Tennis Club in Greenvale. Each prize hamper will also have sporting goods and many other great items.

Raffle Tickets Cost:

•  1 ticket for $2.00; or

•  3 tickets for $5.00

If you would like to enter the raffle, please fill in the reply slip attached below and return the completed form with the correct money to the Accounts office by  Thursday 7 November. The draw will take place at the Fun Run. You need to be in it to win!

Parents & Friends Association – Annual General Meeting Nominations

The Annual General Meeting for the Parents & Friends Association will be held on Monday 25 November, upstairs in the Chapel and Performing Arts Centre (seminar room P24) commencing 7.30pm.

Please note, should you like to nominate yourself or on behalf of someone else, all nominations for the following vacancies must be received by 4.00pm on Monday 18 November.
