Seussical Concert Information
School Concerts are all about community building, resilience, risk taking and learning new skills. They give students the chance to shine and have lots of fun along the way.
For families requiring Before School and After School Care, please book into the program and pick up a bus permission form from OSHC.
Monday 13th May will run as follows:
| 8:30 –8:45am | Children are dropped off at Kingston City Hall |
| 9am | Rehearsals |
| 1pm | Performance 1 |
| 2.30pm | Students are collected from the Town Hall and taken home for dinner and a rest. |
| 6pm | All Lead roles to arrive for make-up |
| 6.30pm | Students arrive at Kingston Town Hall dressed ready for their 7pm performance. Year 2 & 4 to proceed directly to make-up station. |
| 7pm | Performance 2 |
On Monday 13th May all students will need to be dropped off at the Kingston City Hall by 8:45am dressed and ready for a FULL DRESS rehearsal. Carpooling is highly advised. Parents are asked to do a drive through style of drop off at the Town Hall on the morning of the concert where teachers will greet students and escort them into the Hall. There is a slip road off Nepean Highway in front of the Town Hall which is ideal for quick drop offs.
The morning will be spent running through each class through their act on the big stage and making adjustments to sound and lighting. Please start planning now how you will manage drop offs and pickups on the day of the concert.
Tuesday 14th May will run as follows:
| 8:50am -3:30pm | Normal school day (students may come in a bit later this day, but it would be preferable if they were all present by 10am). |
| 6pm | All Lead roles to arrive for make-up |
| 6.30pm | Students arrive at Kingston Town Hall dressed ready for their 7pm performance. Year 2 & 4 to proceed directly to make-up station. |

CONCERT DVD ~ SCHOOL MEMORIES CAPTURED:
No families are allowed cameras or recording devices at the school concert. We are having the concert recorded by School Memories Captured. The DVD includes full capturing of the concert with high definition cameras, full custom menus, chapter points for easy navigation, full custom artwork and colour printing on DVD case and disks. Re-live the memories forever on this DVD.
Order envelopes will be coming home with the eldest child in the next fortnight.
Help! I Need Somebodies!
Help! I Need Somebodies! – Simple Make up application, simple Hair touch-ups/do’s, and basic costume assistance for our Seussical Production. We need lovely parents that are able to come and help out at one or more of the below dates;
Full Dress, Hair and Makeup Rehearsal
- Thursday 9th May 8:30am - 11am @ school
Opening Day/Night
- Monday 13th May 9am/5:30pm @ Kingston Arts Centre.
Closing Night - Tuesday 14th May 5:30pm @ Kingston Arts Centre.
Please Note: If you are able to come to one or more of the above dates please e-mail me. You may be assisting classes/characters of year levels other than your own child’s.
