                          Grade 5/6 News

The grade 5/6 students have started a new unit in RE called sacraments, and they learnt the difference between a sign and a symbol.

These students have also been working on connections to other books and connectives in their writing. I have also been working on punctuation, grammar, handwriting and typing skills.

In maths, they have been working on decimal place value, short division and long division.

During sport, they enjoyed the games: Secret Agent, Whole School Hunter, Cops and Robbers and Medics and Kickball Survivor.

The students are continuing to focus on being upstanders, accepting situations when things don’t go their way, and being brave in class.
