 Students Versus Staff Netball Match

Yesterday our Year 5/6 Netball Team challenged our staff to a friendly match at lunchtime. The purpose of the match was to provide an opportunity for the Netball Team to play a match prior to the Regional Netball Competition next Tuesday. We wish the team all the best for this event next week.

Foundation 100 Days of School

This week our Foundation Students celebrated 100 days of school at CNPS. The day was jam packed with activities that had a focus on Maths, in particular numbers 1 to 100. Our students participated in many counting activities including a treasure hunt finding numbers in the playground with their Year 6 Buddies.

Schoolwide Positive Behaviour Support and Respectful Relationships (SWPBS/RR) Planning Day

The SWPBS/RR Team (Billy, Emily, Jesse and Rachel) met yesterday to plan for the next steps in our work as a school with Schoolwide Positive Behaviour Support and Respectful Relationships. The planning day was extremely productive and the team is currently working on streamlining the way we collect data on student behaviour and the process of conducting a Functional Behaviour Analysis to support students requiring additional support. The team is also planning on revising the CNPS Matrix and reflection sheets.

SWPBS Matrix:

The SWPBS Matrix outlines the expected behaviour of our students at CNPS.

Reflection Sheets:

At CNPS we embrace the concept of a growth mindset, and we consistently reinforce the concept that making mistakes helps us learn. At CNPS, Reflection Sheets are a tool used to provide our students with the opportunity to reflect on their behaviour.
