2023 Hockey Tour to Brisbane Update
The hockey tour commenced with great enthusiasm as the team departed Perth for Brisbane. They enjoyed their stay at the conveniently located Brisbane Gateway Resort, situated between the city and the Gold Coast.
Day 2 involved a training session, exploring Southbank and Brisbane CBD, followed by a thrilling 2-1 victory over Easts Hockey Club with a dramatic last-second goal.
Day 3 started with a training session, followed by activities at Urban Xtreme and then a game leading to an exciting 3-2 win against St Patrick's College.
Day 4 provided a well-deserved break with visits to Movie World and Wet & Wild theme parks.
On Day 5, after a last training session they visited the Koala Centre and then secured a final 1-0 triumph, this time against Redlands Development. The last day included a memorable trip to Sea World, a delicious lunch at Surfers Paradise and a return home filled with pride in their accomplishments. Throughout the tour, the boys demonstrated exceptional behavior, team spirit and sportsmanship.
