Social and Emotional Learning in 1/2

In our SEL lessons, we have been learning about ‘The Zones of Regulation’.

There are four Zones.  They are blue, green, yellow and red.  The Zones help us to think about our emotions and the experiences that make us feel those emotions.  We can be in any of the Zones at different times of the day and sometimes we might be in more than one Zone at the same time.  We can also have different feelings about different experiences because we are all individuals and that is ok.  Our Zones help us to check in on each other and remind us about expected behaviours at School.

We have learned that sometimes you can be in more than one Zone at the same time. - Bel
