Penrith Netball Trip
St Edward's is excited to be able to take teams to Penrith again this year for the NSWCPS Netball Carnival. This will be held on Tuesday 22nd August, 2023.
Parents are welcome to come to the carnival in Penrith however, there are unfortunately no spare seats on the bus.

Athletics Carnival
What amazing weather we were gifted with today to see our school celebrate our annual Athletics Carnival. A massive thank you to everyone who was involved, in particular our P & F and parent helpers, days like today would run without you!

Basketball Nominations for 2023 Summer Comp (2nd Comp)
I am extremely happy to report that we have been able to nominate a third year 5/6 Boys basketball team. I have met with the boys and they are thrilled. Due to this additional team there have been changes made to the teams. Tamworth Basketball association have been emailed the changes and will make them accordingly. If your child is on the list and you haven't received an email from me with a registration link or team code, please email me. nmcculloch@arm.catholic.edu.au
Any unregistered students or students who have not paid Comp Fees will not be permitted to take the court and may potentially lose their spot in the team due to awaiting players.

The Junior Summer Competition will run from 2nd August to 23rd November.
(Please note: School Holiday break will be 4 weeks due to Court Maintenance. Fees have been adjusted).
Junior Primary School Comp Fees $110. Active Kids Vouchers may be used to pay competition fees online.
Personal Registration Fees: Registration Fees are Separate to Competition Fees – Click on the following link to register. Players must be registered with Basketball NSW, registration is for 12 months, fees are as follows. Age 8 to 11 years $100. Active Kids Vouchers may be used to pay registration fees online.

Tamworth Junior Touch Football Competition
Nippers (Kindergarten-Year 2) Touch Football will commence on Monday 21st August 2023 and finish on Monday 13th November 2023.
Games are played at 4.20pm each Monday.
There will be 5 weeks of Skills in Term 3 and 5 weeks of games in Term 4.
Cost $40 – plus $15 for singlet (new players only)
Players need to register and pay via MySideline at https://profile.mysideline.com.au/register/

You will also be charged an annual Insurance fee of $22.00 when registering on MySideline.
The Primary (Years 3-6) Competition will commence on Monday, 21st August 2023 and finish on Monday 4th December 2023.
There are two time slots played each week.
Year 3 – Year 4 play at 4.20pm.
Years 5 – 6 play at 5.10pm.
Cost $50
Register a team or register as a player and we will form a team.
Players need to register and pay via MySideline at https://profile.mysideline.com.au/register/
Search for ‘Tamworth’ and look for the relevant comp for your child
e.g. 3/4 Girls or 5/6 Boys

Games are held at the Gipps Street Playing Fields.

The Armidale Diocesan Primary Sports Council is a body representative of the Catholic Education Office, Principals and Sports Coordinators from all Diocesan Primary Schools.
