In the Grade 3 binome classrooms

Year 3 students have been learning about location, maps and scale as part of the Mathematics curriculum. They used their measuring and estimating skills to draw scaled maps of the classroom. The level of detail in Mathilde’s map is amazing!

They have also been learning about collective nouns for animals as part of their spelling and vocabulary learning, and they would like to share a few of their posters with you as they are quite clever and funny. Did you know a group of parrots is called a pandemonium? A group of owls is called a parliament, so it’s comical to think of owls are running the government!
