Miners Rest Primary School Journey so far...
The school began the implementation of respectful relationship education in 2019 with support from its partner school Ballarat High School. This included a whole-school approach that introduced school leaders and educators to the Respectful Relationship Program through professional learning. Since beginning the implementation in 2019, the school has gradually rolled out the topics to students and this year will complete the full rollout out teaching all 8 Topics with age appropriate content.
The school was pleased to have a parent information evening supported by families last term as we continue to promote and model respect and equality within our school community – and to teach our children how to build healthy relationships, resilience and confidence.
