IT’S THE FINAL COUNTDOWN!

WE ARE BACK and ready to finish off 2022 in true Phys. Ed STYLE!

Happy term four to all of our awesome athletes at MRPS.  Katherine and I are PUMPED for a final term of fun and fitness with all of you.

We have another busy program planned, so buckle up friends!

Below is a list of some of the activities we will be focussing on over the next eleven weeks of term.  Students are always encouraged to bring along their own equipment if they wish to use it during class time or recess, if it matches up with what we are doing in class (don’t forget to make sure it has your name on it!).

As well as in-class fun we also have two exciting camp experiences coming up for both grades five and six to look forward to!  

Grade 5:  Week 3 (October 17th-21st)

Grade 6:  Week 4 (October 24th-28th)

TERM 4 PE focus list:

*Minor games 

*Following rules in sport

*FMS focus:  Striking 

*Tennis, bat tennis and table tennis

*FMS focus:  On ground kicking

*Soccer skills

*Game creation:  working in groups to design your own game

*Kickball

*Good old favourites:  Playing a selection of our favourite games

*Christmas games

GREATER WESTERN REGION TRACK AND FIELD

Congratulations to the following students who performed exceptionally well last Term in the Division Athletics Competition.

These students have progressed through to compete in the Greater Western Region Track and Field Competition at Llanberris this Friday. We wish the following students the very best of luck.

BUNINYONG PRIMARY SCHOOL GOLF TOURNAMENT

On Monday, 10th October, Miners Rest have four teams competing in the Buninyong Golf Tournament. These teams were selected by Tony Collier who ran coaching clinics at our school in Term Two. We wish the following golfers the best of luck for next Monday.
