Dunguludja Dana 

Youth Group

Thank you to the Dunguludja Dana Youth Group for facilitating another successful Arts and Culture Program for our students during Term 3.

Dunguludja Dana (Strong Pathways) Youth Group was formed to support the health and wellbeing of Koorie youth in Greater Shepparton. The group developed a program specifically for Greater Shepparton Secondary College to support cultural learning and connection to community, as well as key people within our college Neighbourhood structure.

In Term 2 the group produced possum skin cloaks, learning the skill of burning artwork on to the pelts. 

In Term 3 the students were introduced to a new skill, thanks to Aunty Esther Kirby who assisted the students with carving emu eggs.
