Term 4 Calendar:

  • 3 November – District Cricket
  • 2 November – State Athletics
  • 8 November – Division Golf

Regional Athletics:

A huge congratulations to Tom G, Tessa, Anna, Penny Alfie, George, Piper and Naomi on their efforts at Regional Aths last week.  It was a very wet day and unfortunately Penny didn’t get to do her high jump as it was cancelled, but all other events went ahead.  Thank you to all parents who made it down at some point to cheer us on (and a special mention to Paul for bringing the chips).

Good luck to Alfie who has made it through to States in November for his 200m.  Awesomeness!!!!

District Golf:

Well done to Oscar, Harvey, Lathan, Quinn and Xavier who took part in last week’s District Golf. All students played really well and a big thank you to all the parents/adults who went along on the day to support them.

Oscar, Harvey and Xavier have all made it through to the next round, finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.  We wish them all the best for 8 November.

Division Cricket:

There will be tryouts for Grade 5/6 students for Division Cricket this week.  Girls will be trying out on Tuesday and boys on Wednesday. Good luck everyone.

P-2 Sports Day:

A big well done to all our Prep, Grade 1 and Grade 2 students who took part in the P-2 Sports last week.  We certainly timed it well before the rain and everyone made the most of the great activities that SEDA put on for us.  It was absolutely wonderful to have our usual spectator vibe back on school grounds after three years.  A big thank you to everyone who made it to support the kids.

Well done and thank you to our Grade 5 and 6 helpers on the day!  Couldn’t have asked for a better bunch! Thank you to all our school staff who made the day possible and a special mention to SEDA for all their hard work and positivity to the day.  SEDA continue to be a significant contributor to a lot of our sporting events!  Thank you.

P.E Shoes Reminder:

A reminder that clean, dry running shoes should be brought with students to all their P.E. lessons. This ensures safe participation for your student and others using the gym.  Slippery shoes and floor can be dangerous.  Thank you to all those students who continue to diligently bring their correct shoes!
