OUR FAITH

PRAYER 

Gracious God, we thank you for mothers- our own mothers and mothers everywhere. We pray for those entrusted with the responsibility of motherhood. Grant each mother your wisdom, guidance and strength and give to each of them patience, devotion and dedication. We ask this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen

for..... all candidates who are preparing to make their First Reconciliation and First Eucharist this term, all our mothers, grandmothers and aunts who we love dearly. 

LITURGY NEWS

Yesterday some of our Year 6 students attended Reconciliation and Year 2 had a class visit from Fr. John. Next Wednesday Kindergarten will have a class visit with our parish priest.

Family Mass 

Thank you to all families who attended Family Mass last Sunday. Our next Family Mass will be held on Sunday 4th June at St Nicholas Church at 9.30a.m (with Yr 2 and Yr 4 families strongly encouraged to attend. 

It would be lovely to see as many families as possible attending. These Masses are an opportunity for our School community to come together with our Parish Community to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word and to share a ‘cuppa ‘and morning tea afterwards.

SACRAMENTS

First Reconciliation and First Eucharist 

First Reconciliation and First Eucharist preparation has begun for our students. Today students will bring home a note stating which Mass your child and family will be attending in order to make their First Eucharist.

Hard copy enrolments can be handed to the school office.

MOTHER'S DAY MASS & MUFFINS WITH MUM

A Whole School Mother’s Day Mass will be held on Friday 12th May (Week 3) at 9.30am at St Nicholas School Undercroft. We would like to invite all mothers, grandmothers, aunts and friends to our Mass and hope you will be able to join us for this special occasion. Prior to the mass from 7.30am - 8.45am our mums or that special loved one are invited to join us for a muffin/light refreshments.

YEAR 6 RE TEST

This term our Year 6 students will be participating in the annual Religion Education Test on Wednesday 14th June.
