This term our classes of year three have been learning about ANZAC day,  the day that reminds us of how the soldiers fought during the wars and sacrificed their lives for us. Every year on the 25th of April we celebrate the day with our whole school taking a minute of silence to remember them in our classroom or the amphitheatre. ANZAC stands for Australia New Zealand Army Corps.

Gardening🌺

In our previous gardening lesson we have been encouraged to interact with nature like eating edible flowers ,picking ripe fresh

foliage and cooking our garden produce .As well as acknowledging

animals  like chickens and insects of any shape or size.

MATHS

When we do maths we split up and mix classes together and in result we end up with a more challenging group and an easier group  but the kids don't get  to know which group they are  in `so feelings don't get hurt. During Math we are focusing on how to tell the time and  how fractions and clocks can relate to each other.
