Grade 5/6 Winter Interschool Sport – Rounds 2, 3 and 4

This week we again play against St Annes – please refer to the previous newsletter for team venues.

All parents and friends and welcome to support our students when they play. Please, make sure students have permission to attend by approving on Compass or calling our office.  Footballers must have mouth guards.  All other details are in the Compass notice that went home last term.  Any questions – please call (9870 2120) or email Fiona Pumpa (via Compass).  If you would like to assist a team then please let me know.  Other matches will be posted in future newsletters.

District Cross Country – Wednesday 24 May

We have been training most days at school in preparation for the District Cross Country.

Please, make sure you have given permission for your child to attend via Compass or ring the school office.

We now have more than enough parent helpers to assist with course marshalling – thank you Dee, Marc, Thomas, Vivian and maybe Karen.  Can all runners please ensure they have a raincoat and warm jacket to wear to the event as who knows what the weather may be.

Downball Australia Incursion

Later this term all Grade 3 to 6 students have the option to be involved in a free downball incursion.  Downball Australia has been to Mullum the last two years.  All of our students have enjoyed this incursion but the difference this year is that every student that attends will receive a FREE downball! This is also a FREE INCURSION, however, students cannot attend unless they have parental permission (notice on Compass) and the survey has been completed that is part of the Compass downball parent notice.
