Spotlight on Performing Arts

The Plot, Like Gravy, Thickens

On Thursday night, 4 May, the Drama Department welcomed the audience to a night of intrigue, fun and mystery. The students showed their abundance of talent and creativity with their performances; as the audience was pulled into the murder mystery, they kept us guessing ‘who done it’ right to the very end.

Congratulations to the Drama Students and Ms McGinn on their triumphant opening night of The Plot, Like Gravy, Thickens, and I wish them all the best for their performance tonight. A special thanks go to the Performing Arts team, FOPA and the amazing parents for all their support and commitment to the Performing Arts.

Friends of Performing Arts

The RSPCA Million Paws Walk is returning for 2023. As in previous years, the Friends of Performing Arts have been asked to provide volunteers to perform car parking marshalling duties and gold coin donation collections. This is another tremendous fundraising activity with the RSPCA donating 50% of all donations to the Friends of Performing Arts.

The event is on Sunday, 28 May, at Sir James Mitchell Park in South Perth.

Friends of Performing Arts have been asked to provide 20 volunteers across two sessions (40 in total). The first session is 6.30am to 11.00am. The second session is 11.00am to 3.00pm.
