Year 11 visit Top Arts 2023

On Thursday 23rd March, the Year 11 Art Making and Exhibiting ( formerly Studio Arts ) visited the National Gallery of Victoria at Federation Square to see the 2023 Top Arts exhibition. 

This is an annual event which is part of the Year 12 VCAA Season of Excellence each year, highlighting student exemplary student achievement through Units 3 & 4 Studio Arts 2022. Students were initially given the opportunity to go behind the scenes to look at student folios in order to gain both ideas and inspiration for their own work. 

This was followed by a viewing of the final artworks in one of the ground floor exhibition spaces. 

Student feedback about the event reflected how valuable it was to building confidence towards their own artmaking process.
