Softball – scratch match
Thursday 11th May saw the sun shining, as the Dashes and Dots softball teams played a scratch match at NPS. All players have improved their skills and they are good at listening to instructions too.
The two NPS teams were playing against each other because Strathmerton didn’t have a softball team. So our teams played each other under “game conditions” which meant that the scores were recorded. After a bit of organisation, all players were ready to play, the Dots batted first they did a great job of hitting the ball into the outfield. At the end of second innings, the scores were Dashes 12 runs, with the Dots scoring 10 runs.
During this game all players supported and helped each other. They showed great fielding skills, throwing and catching accurately. The game was played in good spirits, with all players congratulating each other by saying, “gg” which means good game.
