Principal Report

This week I am away Thursday and Friday,  to attend the New England Secondary Principal Council to prepare for the Annual State Principal Conference that is being held in Tamworth after the long weekend in June.

With the cold weather here, we are seeing the number of students out of uniform increase. I wish to remind families that it is school policy for students to wear full school uniform to school every day. The uniform does not contain a hoodie, nor tracksuit pants or jeans. We know it's cold but students need to layer up underneath their school uniform if they are getting cold. The school has donated thousands of dollars in uniforms to help students to be in uniform and it is disappointing to see some of these students continuing to be out of uniform. Students who are consistently out of uniform may find themselves unable to represent the school, go on school excursions and may even be given lunchtime detentions. The school is doing everything it can to assist families in getting their students into uniforms, but we are not seeing the support the school needs to make this happen. If you need assistance with uniforms, please contact the school - all inquiries are kept strictly confidential.

A reminder of classroom rules and expectations for students to be successful learners. If you get an opportunity please discuss these expectations with your student and phone the school if you have questions or concerns.
