VM PDS news
The Year 12 VCE VM PDS class are collecting canned foods to donate to our local foodbank during terms 2 and 3. The aim is to collect as many canned foods as possible to donate to those who need it. Donation boxes are marked with a yellow poster and will be located in the main office, library, A block office and the main staffroom. Any donations you can make will be much appreciated by the Year 12 VM PDS class and our local community. At the last count the total cans collected so far was 46.

Students have been researching what it means to be a refugee, migrant stories from the Immigration Museum and National Archive and what Aid Organisations do to support refugees around the world.
They have also practiced their teamwork and fine motor skills by learning or teaching others how to sew on buttons, put up a tent and assemble a simple lamp, then writing a set of instructions for how to do these things.
