にほんご の 勉強!(KIDS IN ACTION in Japanese!)

Prep

Nothing beats seeing the students in class! It is so lovely to see all them excited! Children used the words they learned during remote learning, then enjoyed the lesson with some おえかき! (Guided drawing).

The preps really enjoyed drawing Pikachu’s face! Have a look at their first attempt drawing a Japanese character.

Year 4 and 5

The students have received a greeting card from Arakawa primary School (Osaka, Japan) and videos of their school tour. In line with the Unit of Inquiry of Year 4’s (how we express ourselves: people communicate by expressing themselves in many ways), the students will make school tour videos of BNPS and send them to the Japanese school.

The Year 5 students will answer some questions from Arakawa PS students about the school life at BNPS. They will do the projects in Japanese!

COVIDSAFE

The students continue to learn the language outside as much as possible and wear a mask in the Japanese room (Year 3-6).
