Production postponement

New friendships are the silver lining

This year our NHS school production team came together to make the performance of ‘IN THE HEIGHTS’ an unforgettable one. With the production being cancelled last year in 2020, it was really exciting to hear that we would continue the Production this year and make it happen.

Sadly, the events of lockdown have postponed the big show once again, and we are still impatiently waiting for a confirmed date regarding the performance. However, from the start of February up until now, I think I can speak for all when I say, that we have all had such a wonderful and joyous experience since rehearsals began in February, putting in so much hard work in all our weekly rehearsals. New friendships have been made, we have acted and sung our hearts out, and we have laughed together at all our mistakes as we worked hard to perfect our craft. All of this has really brought everyone together and we have created memories that we’ll cherish for many years to come. Although we are all sad to see the year 12s move onto a new chapter, we wish them the very best. We are glad they got to have the experience of rehearsals and we now hope that an opportunity arises for them to join the rest of the production team one final time, to put on a great show for all!
