Rosie Thyer's Monash leadership program success 

Congratulations to Rosie Thyer, one of our 2020 School Captains, on her recent selection for Monash University's prestigious leadership program.

"After a lengthy application and interview process, a couple of days ago I found out I was selected to be part of Monash University's 2022 Vice Chancellors Ancora Imparo Leadership program! The program is year-long and is designed to give only 40 second-year students the chance to learn about leadership through interaction with community leaders and distinguished alumni. I hope to gain the knowledge, skills, and insights required to change the world for the better, and am super thankful, proud, and privileged to be given this opportunity! I really hope to build on the leadership skills that I developed at Northcote High and honestly feel like I have a moral obligation to use the resources that I have at my disposal. I thoroughly encourage those who are considering going to university to look out for opportunities like this that may arise and don't be afraid to give the application a crack!"
