Dear Netball Families, 

Thank you for the season's Pizza presentation afternoon held on Monday 31st October. Big thanks to Alex Steinbeck, Jacinta Thomas and Em Lloyd who organised the afternoon. The netball AGM will be in the next few weeks after I get back from Canberra (and catch up on sleep!). I will do it via Zoom. All positions are declared vacant. Honestly, there is not a lot involved - please help out as many hands make light work!

DIOCESAN SUMMER TRIALS

A Compass event will be coming out this week to children in Year 5 (Year 6 2023) about the Diocesan Summer Trials. NO NOTES WILL BE BEING SENT HOME FOR THIS. These will be taking place in Tamworth on Friday 2 November (Tennis, Basketball and Cricket) and Friday 18 November (Touch Football) There are limited places for nominations (3 boys, 3 girls for tennis, 6 boys, 6 girls for basketball and 6 boys, 6 girls for cricket, 6 boys, 6 girls for touch football). These places will be offered to Year 5 first and then opened up to exceptional Year 4 players if any spaces are left. Please note that children will be expected to have played at a representative level to be competitive at this level.

JAY STONE - ATHLETICS COACHING - CARVED FROM STONE

This term we continue to have Jay Stone, a coach endorsed by Athletics Australia, come into the school to teach our children different athletics techniques.  Jay is working with all year levels on Wednesdays during Term 4 to continue his already great work.
