OUR FAITH

PRAYER
Living God, We are called to remember the past- all those who lost their lives in the course of wars, the horror they endured, the determination they displayed to defend the values we hold so dear, the sacrifices they made so that we may enjoy lasting peace. Lord in your Mercy, hear our prayer.
Amen
We pray ...
for..... for all those who have died in war and conflict; all those who serve our country in war to protect the freedom and rights of others, for the safe return of our Year 5 and Year 6 students, teachers and parents from excursions.
LITURGY NEWS
Next Wednesday a group of our Year 5 students will have the opportunity to attend Reconciliation.
Remembrance Day
Tomorrow is Remembrance Day – a day when we reflect and give thanks for the sacrifices made by so many in times of war and conflict. We will be gathering together as a school community at a morning assembly on Friday to spend time in reflection and prayer, and to play the Last Post and say the Ode of Remembrance to coincide with the 11th hour, of the 11th day of the 11th month. Lest we forget.
FAMILY MASS
What a beautiful spring day we were blessed with for our Family Mass last Sunday. Thank you to all those in attendance.
Our final Family Mass for the year will be on Sunday 4th December (Year 2 & Year 4 families encouraged to attend) at St Nicholas Church commencing at 9.30a.m.
