FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Term 4 - Week 5

Week 5 .... a week full of excursions! This week I am in Canberra with our Year 6 students and some of our staff. We have been to many of our nation's capital's attractions such as the High Court of Australia, Old Parliament House, the Australian Mint and Questacon. The children have had a great time and we are looking forward to returning home tomorrow. 

Our Year 5 students are also away this week at the Sport and Recreation Camp at Lake Burrendong. From all accounts, the students are having a wonderful time participating in many land and water activities and we look forward to hearing all their stories upon their return tomorrow. 

Please keep an eye on Compass for approximate arrival times back to school.

MACKLIN INNIS

Last week we received the tragic news that a former St Nicholas student, Macklin Innis, passed away suddenly. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, all those who knew Macklin and the McCarthy School Community. We ask that you keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
