DIWALI FESTIVAL - THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHT
Some of our families celebrated Diwali Festival ~ the Festival of Light this week. One of our students Jasmeet was able to make a candle holder out of clay in her inquiry learning unit to hold her candle for the special celebrations.
NEW - WANTED - MINI BIKE
Wanted - mini bike that no longer runs. We are looking for a mini bike for the purpose of stripping it down as part of our alternate learning program. Please contact the school office if you have anything to donate. Chris Quinn will collect. Thank you for supporting our programs.
NEW - BREAKFAST CLUB
St Mel's is excited to trial a Breakfast Club Program. To be offered to ALL students in the school hall on Friday mornings commencing tomorrow, Friday October 28th until Friday December 9th. A menu of cereals and toast, juice and milo will be offered. Our student leadership teams will be on hand to help our staff and parent volunteers serve breakfast to our children. Everyone welcome.

Breakfast Club Program
BREAKFAST CLUB - UPATE ......Our first Breakfast Club was a huge success. So many children enjoyed a healthy breakfast. One of our Year 1/2 boys said "I've had the best start to my day!"
All our students are welcome at our breakfast club, many children enjoying a second breakfast!
