Outside School Hours Care

We have been focusing on REDUCE REUSE RECYLE. The children have been using recycled materials at the construction table, some of which we have collected right here at school, from when we cook and from other classrooms. They have used natural materials in the sensory activities like sticks, pebbles, small pinecones, leaves, acorns, rice and so much more.

Natural resources, are any raw materials we take from nature to make things that we need. We can't make natural resources ourselves, but we can control how they are used.

The kids have brought back balloon tennis and have been holding their own championships, we have had Hula-hoop Competitions and our record holder is still Lily, getting to an impressive 26 minutes without stopping! We have been using the KLC through the week to play basketball, tennis, vortex and other games!!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!! We have started our Christmas activities which have included making our own Christmas wrapping paper, ‘Dear Santa’ letters and Christmas tree decorations. This is just the start!
