Noah’s Ark

The students in 1/2 UR have been learning about the story of Noah’s Ark and its significance. They happily listened to the story from our classroom bible and had a group discussion about what it meant. They learnt about God's mercy and his commitment to the goodness of what he has made. The students were so fascinated by the events of the story that they were inspired to create their own artistic image of the great flood and the ark. Students used scrap paper, textas and coloured pencils to design an image that captured their interpretation of the story. After students completed their pictures they each had a chance to share what they learnt about the story. It was a wonderful experience for the 1/2s!
