Senior School

As the year draws to an end, our Year 9 and 10 students have been busy undertaking their end-of-year Examinations, studying hard and giving their all to show what they have learned in 2022. I have had the pleasure of working with many of them in the Library between exams, and have been consistently impressed with their determination to master the skills and content of their courses.

Our Year 8s have also had a big week, enjoying their Year 8 Camp. Students have canoed, hiked, canyoned, mountain biked and slept under canvas throughout the week at Bungawarra and Rydal. Camps form a significant part of both our Wellbeing and Wilderness Education programs, and are central to our students’ development of resilience and perseverance. It is also vital to the growth of peer relationships. I know parents will be looking forward to having their children home, along with bags of smelly washing!

It has also been an emotional week for many of our Year 12s, as they have visited the School one final time to sign out and say their farewells. We wish them all the very best as they begin life’s next adventure!
