We cannot believe that it is nearly report time once again! Our teachers carefully craft reports to capture the growth of every student and tell the story of their learning journey, this year both academically and personally. This semester reports wil be sent electronically in the last week of school. A hard copy can be available to families who request one.
Our 5/6 students had the most wonderful experience visiting Rye #16 beach to work with the 'Living Culture' team. Students took part in a guided walk and learnt about bush tucker and the landscape, guided by an indigenous leader. Here are a few photos of that experience. Students will continue their Onland learning with a visit to Don Bosco Camp next Wednesday.
Interested students are now invited to sign up to be a 'shadow judge' for the 2023 CBCA Book Week awards! Visit https://shadowjudging.cbca.org.au/# to find out more.
Our students at Fatima are always curious and eager to learn! If you are stuck for an idea you might like to consider a magazine subscription to publications such as National Geographic Kids, Double Helix, Discovery, Storytime, etc - there are lots! Children have great excitement receiving a magazine in the post every month! A membership to clubs like Lego, Minecraft, the museum and so on can also be a year-long gift of learning for children too.
