Change to Work Experience Requirements

Dear Parents and Guardians

As of 22 April 2022, people under 18 years of age are not required to be vaccinated for the purposes of work or volunteering, for example, to attend work experience. 

Prior to 22 April, students were required to be double vaccinated for work experience if they were attending a workplace covered by the mandated vaccination policy (CHO Direction 55/2021). 

CHO Direction 55/2021 has been revoked, and superseded by CHO Direction 52/2022, which provides an exemption for people under 18 years of age.
