P & C News
Hello PBSS Families!
P&C General Meeting
The next PBSS P&C General Meeting is tomorrow, 9th June at 5pm in the school staffroom. If you have been considering joining our fun-filled P&C please come along to this meeting and complete your membership.
Daylight Disco
Students should start brushing off their dance moves because the next daylight disco is being held on Thursday 16th June at the PAC Hall during school hours.
Tickets include disco admission and an ice block. This day is a FREE DRESS Day, so students can bust out their fav disco outfits to go with their epic dance moves!
There are prizes to be won for amazing dancing.
Purchase your tickets online via quickcliq under the events tab!
*Please note, if you're buying more than one ticket, can you please order them separately so we can match every single ticket to a student.
Friday Paddle Pop Frenzy
Get the weekend started this Friday 10th June with a Paddle Pop treat. The P&C is selling Paddle Pops for $2 after school at 2:45pm at the Uniform Shop/Pick up Zone Gate. Bring along $2 to kick the weekend off the right way.
Freezer Donation
We owe a HUGE thank you to Stones Throw Finance for answering our call for the donation of a freezer and generously purchasing a brand-new chest freezer for the P&C and arranging delivery. This freezer will enable the P&C to be better prepared for future meal deals and fundraising events.
Thank you Stones Throw Finance for your amazing generosity.
Guzman y Gomez Meal Deal
Students, get their taste buds ready for the GYG meal deal on Tuesday 21st June. Meal deal orders can be made under the 'Events' tab on Quickcliq up until Sunday 19th June.
Meal Deal Volunteers
If you are free to help pack and deliver the GYG meal deals to classrooms from 9:30 to 11am on Tuesday 21st May, we need you. Please use the below Sign-Up link to confirm your ability to help out. https://signup.com/go/eLaeMzk
Fundraising Goals:
Our short-term fundraising goal is to direct funds towards rebuilding and regenerating our school garden. Green space is important to our students and school community as it teaches students about growing and nurturing their own food and herbs, which then leads to understanding healthy eating and the important life skill of cooking. We look forward to being able to help Miss Anna get the school garden regenerated and flourishing.
