From the Classroom-B2 (Brooke)

This week began with a bang, as B2 and the rest of the Year 3/4 students created 3D shapes out of toothpicks and marshmallows. The goal of the activity was for students to use the materials to make 3D objects and then explain how many sides, vertices, and faces the shape had. Yes, the students did get to enjoy the marshmallows afterwards, which they were extremely excited about.

After recess, B2 went to the library to select a book that they believed would be a good fit for them and one that grabbed their attention. Choosing an appealing book that piques the students' interest aids them in completing a reading response at the conclusion of the week, as seen below.
