Senior Athletics
Congratulations to all involved in the Senior School Athletics last Tuesday. We enjoyed perfect weather conditions for this action packed day on at the Flora Hill Complex. It was fantastic to see so many students participating to the best of their ability and enjoying themselves. The students participated in their age groups and completed eight events with an optional 800m at the end of the day. Every student who participated scored points toward their individual ribbon and their House. Congratulations to the students of Savage House who were crowned House Champions for gaining the most points.
The highlight of the day was the House 4 x 100m relay, which was also won by Savage House. It was great to see the students cheering on their representatives in a wonderful display of team spirit. I would like to thank the SGPS staff for all of their work to ensure this was such a smooth running event.
District Athletics
Some students will now go on to represent the school at the District Sports on Tuesday the 21st of June. These students have been informed of their selection and will receive specific information (including a timetable of events) in the coming days.

Loddon Mallee Region Cross Country
Congratulations to Charlie F who represented Spring Gully Primary and the Sandhurst Division at the LM Regional Cross Country on Tuesday. This event featured the best distance runners from North West, North Central and Central Victoria and was held on a particularly challenging St Arnaud course.
In an amazing run, Charlie finished 4th in the 10 Years Boys race. He has now qualified for the School Sport Victoria - State Cross Country Championships at Yarra Glen on Thursday, 14th July. Outstanding effort, Charlie!
Division Soccer
Congratulations to those students who have been selected to represent our school at the Sandhurst Division Soccer Championships next Thursday, 9th June.
We have both a Senior Girls and Senior Boys team playing in this event, which is held at the Epsom/Huntly Recreation Reserve. Specific information for this event has been sent home to selected students via Compass.
