Point of View (PoV)

Technological improvements with cameras, microphones and the peripherals to carry them have allowed talented, daring and innovative people to take us along their adventures. We can do this in the safety of our homes and classrooms. This PoV genre grants students access to put themselves in the shoes of others and to experience and describe what their five senses might feel (sense of smell is this tricky!).

A subset of PoV is real-time data. In the past, this has been represented on spreadsheets which are one dimension and dull, to say the least. However, innovation has brought this to life using visual aids and animation.

The following are PoV and real-time resources I would thoroughly recommend to all. It will be a conversation starter and an opportunity to improve one's inferential comprehension by asking the viewers to put themselves in someone else's place.
