Upcoming Learning

During the next fortnight, students will be undertaking learning in the following areas:

  • Analysing autobiographies.
Writing
  • Peer conferencing and editing skills.
Maths
  • Patterns and Algebra/Location and Transformation.
Science
  • Chemical Science - Reversible changes.
Inquiry
  • To gain an understanding of geographical features of countries.
Social & Emotional Learning
  • To understand the definition of violence and gender based violence.

News and Reminders

  • Week 9 - Family Suitcase Expo, Athletics Day, Year 6 Amazing Race
  • The Amazing Race: Students in year 6 will be competing in teams to win the Amazing Race. They will face challenges, puzzles, riddles and games to see who will be the winners. This is a free event and no payment is needed.
  • Payments are now being accepted for our Year 6 Camp in November. Please see Compass for more information.
  • Students can be reading from home using MyOn https://www.myon.com/login/index.html
  • The "Family Suitcase" project is due on Monday 20th June. On Wednesday 22nd June, students will showcase their projects at the Family Suitcase exhibition. This will be held in classrooms from 9am - 10am. Families are welcome to come into classrooms to see all of the fantastic work that our students have done this term!
