HSC Online Resources
Due to Covid-19, our local library (Blacktown City Libraries) will not be offering any HSC support sessions to HSC students until September. Meanwhile, Wollongong University is offering FREE online HSC sessions in a large number of subjects to help Year 12 students prepare for their exams, get advice from HSC subject experts and transition to tertiary study.

“Get Caught Reading” raffle – Term 1 2020
Congratulations to the following students: Lily Jones, Eh Mu Tha, Angela Paterson and Aki Igarashi on winning the “Get Caught Reading" raffle in Term 1.
These students and many more visit the library at recess and lunch to read for pleasure. The Librarian “catches" them reading and takes a photo of them to add to the collection of photos displayed in the library. Students are also given a raffle ticket to place in the jar. At the end of each term, four raffles are drawn and students receive a present.
Happy reading always!

Library and Information Week (LIW)
Library and Information Week (LIW) is held during the last week of May each year aiming to showcase all the ways that libraries and information professionals create through their work and support their patrons to create.
This year Library and Information Week takes place from 25–31 May 2020 and the theme is ”CREATE”.
To celebrate this event at EHS, we will be launching our “READING CAFÉ” that will be running every Wednesday during lunchtime in the library. We will also be running an acrostic poem competition.
The aim is to create an acrostic poem and share it with Ms Chalhoub. Ten winners with the most outstanding poems will be chosen to receive special prizes. The poems will be displayed on our library windows for all to enjoy.
