Swimming

From Kade James

So at a swim meet you start with doing stretches with the coach and then you get straight into the pool and do 200 metres of all the strokes your doing at the meet then 100 metres of drill. then you you go have something to eat and get your event numbers on your arm .  So how these events work is they have a big screen that says the event number on it and when your event number comes up that means you need to go to the marshalling tent and you tell the the person at the table your name and they sit you in a seat. Then once a race goes you move up a seat. Then when you enter the pool area when they plow the whistle for a long time you step up on the blocks then they say take your marks and then it beeps then you dive and swim as fast as you can.
