Parent Opinion Survey
Our school is conducting a survey to find out what parents think of our school. The Parent Opinion Survey is an annual survey offered by the Department of Education and Training, and is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of parents perceptions of school climate, student behaviour and student engagement. Our school will use the survey results to help inform and direct future school planning and improvement strategies.
Invitations to participate in the survey were sent home in the post last week. All responses to the survey are anonymous. The window to complete the Parent Opinion Survey has been extended until Sunday August 18th. Thank you to the parents who have already completed the survey.
The survey will be conducted online, only takes 10-15 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time within the fieldwork period on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones. The online survey will be available in a range of languages other than English. These include: Arabic, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Chin (hakha), Hindi, Japanese, Somali, Turkish, Punjabi and Greek. If you require access to a desktop computer to complete the survey, please contact the College office to arrange a suitable time during the school day.
The survey results will be reported back to the school at the end of September.
If you require further information , please contact the College.

VCAL Canteen - Thursday August 8
The VCAL students held their first canteen on Thursday August 8. The VCAL students worked hard behind the scenes, learning the procedures required to get the canteen happening. From writing a proposal to school council, collecting prices of ingredients, organizing and placing orders for supplies and communicating with Lisa Oliver Business Manager to count orders and money. Those students who had ordered food enjoyed the hot dogs, slice and juice boxes from the VCAL canteen.
The VCAL Team have already got the menu set for the second canteen. Please see below - order forms are available from the Front Office. Orders and payments need to be returned by Thursday August 15.
