HELLO

Hello from the new Resource Centre Manager. My name is Janene Watson and I recently joined the McKinnon Secondary College staff. To give you a bit of background about me, I am a qualified librarian who has worked in a wide range of library settings including schools and TAFE. I have also worked as a Medical Librarian and as a Family History Librarian. I enjoy helping people to find the information they need or the 'right' novel. I love working in libraries because I get satisfaction from helping people to achieve their goals or grow academically or personally.

I would like to wish Russell Absalom a well deserved and happy retirement.

I've already had the pleasure of meeting many staff members and students and I look forward to meeting many more.

I am excited to work with the teachers and students at McKinnon Secondary College to support teaching and learning.
