Taiko – Japanese Drums Event     

This week the year 7 and 8 Japanese Language students, along with the Mid- Level Band students, participated in a Taiko drumming session. The Taiko sensei was able to lead everyone to work as a team. By the end of the fifty-minute session, students had picked up the drumming technique and stayed focused to perform a 40 Taiko drum arrangement. The students’ focus and keen interest in this activity revealed their tremendous capabilities to achieve.
