Term 4 Community Night

"Sideshow Alley"

In Week 4 LNPS hosted its annual Community Night, where members of our community came out to engage and in and celebrate the exciting learning that has been occurring throughout the year.

This year's theme was Sideshow Alley, where our staff and students showcased  how LNPS students apply knowledge and skills about financial literacies and business and economics in real life situations! As always, the night was an amazing turnout and it could not have happened without the dedication of our staff.

Thank you to all the parents and community members that attended our spectacular Community Night. Congratulations to our students and staff for hosting such an excellent event.

Christian Options Christmas Program

Friday 29th November

1:00 – 1:30pm in the Gym

Each year LNPS hosts an optional Christian Options Christmas Program for our students. The program is run by the local churches with a focus on teaching young people about the origin and meaning behind Christmas  and where we get our traditions from.

Over the years the program has had positive responses from students, staff and the community from many schools. As in previous years the attendance to the program is optional for students to attend.

LNPS Colour Fun Run

Last Friday LNPS hosted the School Colour Fun-Run as a major fundraising event this year. Students, staff and families participated in the run to raise much needed money for Indigenous Cultural Awareness Projects, including the painting of our beloved shipping containers.

Several of our Year 7 students organised the event, and need to be congratulated on the exceptional organisation and implementation of the event.

The school raised $16,113 which is an amazing effort by all!! A further thank you to Kerryn Farina who organise our special host for the day. Congratulations to Charlie L from R8 who raised an astonishing $1,200!!

The children will receive their prizes in Week 9.
