IHF Statement in recognition of hospitals facing COVID-19
On 15th December 2020, IHF publicly launched their statement 'Supporting Hospitals in a Time of Crisis: IHF Statement in recognition of hospitals facing COVID-19'. This statement recognizes the pivotal role of hospitals and healthcare systems in facing COVID-19 and their efforts in creating the best possible conditions for healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care.
ISQua were proud to endorse this statement, alongside IAPO, IFPMA, and the International Network for Health Promoting Hospitals & Health Services.
'The COVID-19 pandemic has provided us with the challenge of being safe and providing high-quality care in the face of extreme conditions. We can reflect on how we have worked together and on the way we have looked after the wellbeing of the people who work in delivering healthcare services. Every country has been challenged by the COVID-19 pandemic and it has revealed that we can do far more than we have been in ensuring the physical and mental wellbeing of all who deliver care and those who have managed the processes. Leaders and managers, clinical staff have faced challenges and overcome them. We thank all for their dedication and commitment' says ISQua CEO, Dr Peter Lachman.
