OPS Community Cookbook 2020
The new ‘OPS Community Cookbook 2020’ has arrived from the printer! For those of you who ordered copies, you should have received your copy in a named envelope.
Please see attached below, a digital copy of the cookbook that you may also like to use.
We really hope you enjoy cooking some of the fantastic recipes, and share your experiences with other families. It was truly wonderful to read your stories behind why the recipe is special to your family. Thanks again to all the families and teachers who took part!

A special thank you to all the families who take part of the Mango Drive and to Debra Dalidakis who run this fundraiser for our community! Together we ordered 176 boxes of sweet Bowens Special Mangoes straight from the mango farm to our OPS community!
A ‘Thank You’ Message From Parents & Friends
What a challenging year 2020 has been. I would like to thank everyone on the P&F Committee this year, and all the Class Reps for their support in this challenging period. You have shown amazing commitment and enthusiasm. Despite Covid-19 and two lockdowns, we still managed to run the ‘Welcome to Foundation Morning Tea’ and the ‘Welcome Back to School Picnic’, ran the 'Easter Raffle', organised some great local specials for parents to enjoy on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, completed a new ‘OPS Community Cookbook’ and ran the ever popular Mango Drive. At the end of the day, all of these events are a group effort, and I would like to thank our Class Reps and Committee members for helping make things happen.
I would also like to say a couple of specific thank-you's for some additional help with some recent projects. Thank-you to Sara Nyborg who was instrumental in getting the new cookbook up and running, including editing and formatting over 80 recipes - a mammoth task. Another thank-you goes out to Cathy Wever for her assistance with graphic design and printing of the cookbook. Finally, thank-you to Deb Dalidakis for running the Mango Drive again - the event always makes people smile! Please let us know if you think you would like to be a P&F Committee Member or Class Rep next year. It’s such a fun group of people, and I have no doubt we can create some amazing events and experiences for the children and families at our school. I would love to hear your ideas for new events and fundraisers for next year.
In the meantime, I hope everyone has an easy wind down as we approach the summer holidays. We all need a break in the sun! Wishing everyone a safe, happy and healthy holidays,

Save The Date
Welcome Picnic 2021 - 26th February
In 2021 we will start the new school year (subject to restrictions) with a Welcome Picnic on Friday 26th February, 5 – 8 pm, at the OPS yard. Save the date! We’ll keep you posted after the school holidays.
