Classroom News - Year 3

Creative Arts

Year 3 were lucky enough to have a visit from local Aboriginal Artist Anthony Strong.

The students loved their art lesson and created some beautiful pieces of art capturing the essence of NAIDOC week.

Mathematics

In Mathematics, Year 3 have been investigating lines and angles. Students have had a chance to make their own angle finders, use geoboards and use their bodies to create different angles.

Religious Education

As 2020 is coming to an end we were fortunate enough for restrictions to ease enough to allow stage 2 to join together to enjoy and celebrate a beautiful end of year Mass. We thank Mrs Cain for organising and Father Roel for celebrating the Mass with us.

PDHPE

With the summer holidays fast approaching, it is so important to remember our water and beach safety. We had a visit last week from the Beach To The Bush surf lifesavers. They talked us through the importance of swimming between the flags and how to stay safe at the beach. This came at the perfect time for Year 3 as we were finishing off our PDHPE safety unit.
